Two adults are being treated for gunshot wounds after an attack in broad daylight, authorities in Allentown say. 

Allentown police are investigating after two adults were shot in broad daylight Tuesday. Both victims were hospitalized but their conditions were unclear.

Police were dispatched to the area of 5th and Pratt streets around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, said Assistant Chief James Gress in a statement. 

The two victims were located and rushed to an area hospital, he added. 

Police did not identify the victims or describe their conditions, but said an investigation is ongoing.
